Schedule: Mon - Friday 8-5 Client: Financial Services Pay Rate: 70-75/HR Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in Mortgage Lending or Mortgage Servicing Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or related field 6+ years of experience in Operations Analytics, Modeling/Data Science, or related field 2+ years of experience in Lending business Job Duties: Responsible for working closely with management to execute analytical projects.

Responsible for providing thought leadership & strategic thinking to solve business problems by leveraging analytical approach with tools like Snowflake, Tableau and Python etc. This position will closely monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure goals are met and course correct as necessary. This position will support the Servicing team at Discover Home Loans and will need to perform analytics research to drive new strategies.

The role needs to support the Servicing team in terms of data research, data onboarding and enablement of control monitoring. The role is expected to collaborate with data providers to communicate business requirements and ensure the data onboarding is executed with high precision. Prior experience of working in an analytics or data science role is required for this job.

Experience in mortgage banking will be useful in this role
